rontier Forts Days, Friday, May 9th and Saturday, May 10th, 2008, Historic Fort Worth Stock Yards. Learn about the many forts along the Texas Forts Trail and elsewhere in Texas, and experience the sights and sounds of this important era. Events also include Quanah Parker Comanche Exhibition, cavalry competitions and the Ceremony of 8,000 Sacred Drums. Historic enactors, musicians, cavalry, "Buffalo Soldiers", Native American tribal communities, and more bring the days of the Texas frontier to life!
